This year, MOJA had the great pleasure to collaborate with the amazing Costume and Fashion Designer Marine ARNOUL, Owner and Manager of the MARTIAN AGENCY.

Following the various cases of sexual harassment and assault that have shocked the entire world and the film industry in particular, photographer MOJA and his team launched the "Women & Cinema"© photography event at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

Instead of participating in the purely political debate, photographer MOJA decided to reinterpret through his lens legendary films with female characters.

Six to twelve classic films are selected each year. Women play an important role in all of them and through the pictures the photographer emphasises the strength, struggles and place of women in society in all levels. 

The event is taking place at Cannes during the 12 days of the Festival International du Film de Cannes, since 2017. Each year an agora of discussions and press conferences is created in the prestigious lounges of the Majestic Barrière, intended to welcome all the talents of the cinema around this important subject.
